The Top 10 Greatest Diets of all Time aims to sift through the abundance of dieting literature on the market and identify the 10 that, in my experience (which is fairly extensive after 20 years of on /off dieting), actually work. It begins with a brief look at the emergence of dieting in history followed by a breakdown of each of the 10 diets I have selected. I examine each diet to ascertain the type of person / body shape suited to it, in addition to the factors affecting its success: willpower, sustainability, affordability, suitability and eating out.
